A Letter From the Bishop

My dear brothers in Christ,

I encourage you to participate in the 9th Annual Worcester Diocesan Catholic Men’s Conference, which is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2009.

The purpose of the Conference is to encourage Catholic men to increase their participation in the life of the Church and to strengthen them as the live their lives in an increasingly secular society. Last year we had 1,000 men in attendance.

I believe that the Catholic Men’s Conference is on of the best developments in the Diocese in recent years, and I always look forward to participating in the Conference myself. It is inspiring to see so many Catholic men join together with other men, from throughout the Diocese and beyond to listen to wonderful presentations, go to confession, actively participate in Mass, and return to their families and parishes renewed in the faith.

I hope that you will invite other men to participate, and please consider asking your brothers, sons, and grandsons.

I look forward to seeing you on Saturday, March 28!
